CONSTRUCTION
Our general construction starts with a kiln dried hardwood frame machined for durability. Dowel construction is used thoughout along with glue, screws, and corner blocks. The suspension is married to each frame for comfort and durability.

Deep seated frames are of eight way hand tied coil springs, while other styles utilize premium elastic webbing or sinuous wire springs. The inner fillings begin with a layer of synthetic fiber batting, a generous portion of urethane foam, and another layer of white synthetic fiber batting. All inner body fillings are hypoallergenic. The outer fillings begin wih a synthetic fiber fabric covering followed by a layer of densified fiber batting and finally the finish fabric. The finish fabric does not touch the raw frame, everything is padded. The skirts are hand aligned and cut to the upholstered item to assure an accurate match. The skirts are fully lined and sewn with mitered corners for a natural drape. All skirted items are equipped with levelers in each leg to allow for height adjustment. Our typical skirt height off the floor is one half inch.


ORGINS
All fully upholstered frames, and tables are Made in the USA, as are many of our dining chairs. The balance of the items we offer are imported from Europe.

PAYMENT METHODS
One half deposit is required with the order and the balance due prior to shipment. Payment may be made by company check, Visa®, Master Card® or American Express®.

PRODUCTION SCHEDULE
Orders are scheduled into production and assigned an approximate ship date, only after all fabrics, trims, deposit, and specifications have been received. Actual lead times are based on the factory capacity at the time the order is scheduled.

QUOTATIONS
We will quote an item only in writing via fax, mail, or email. Quotations are valid for 60 days from the date entered. Please be sure to check that the fabric yardage includes additional amounts for narrow fabrics and repeats.

STANDARDS
We employ rigorous engineering standards throughout our manufacturing process to ensure each item produced meets our quality acceptance. Differences in decorative fabrics and how furniture is used will affect the comfort and amount of maintenance required to keep your Duralee® furniture looking beautiful. If changes in our engineering standards are desired, (example: adding/reducing amount of filling materials in back pillows) we’ll gladly quote the up charge amount to achieve those needs.
