IN HOME DELIVERY

In most cases, your items can be shipped directly to the end user by a nation-wide In Home Delivery service. They will place the furniture into the customer’s home and do some slight regulating of fillings. They will not remove doors or move the customer’s old furnishings. If the delivery is deemed difficult, the customer may be asked to sign a damage wavier for their property and the items being delivered. Be sure the furniture ordered will fit into the delivery location! The customer must inspect the goods upon arrival, once signed for they have no recourse. If there is damage or a defect immediately noticed, the delivery should be refused. In Home Delivery may extend the lead times several weeks, especially if the delivery location is in a remote area. Please ask a customer service representative to quote your In Home Delivery.

PACKING

Our standard packing method for fully upholstered furniture is to fully pad the item and shrink-wrap it to a corrugated tray. Our case goods are padded and shrink-wrapped to a shock resistant, double layered tray and cartoned. All furniture specific carriers accept this method of packing. If a non-furniture specific carrier is requested, we will also carton the fully upholstered items at no charge. See "Cartoning" for additional information.

SHIPPING & FREIGHT

DFF® will ship your items prepaid and billed, via furniture specific carriers that accept shrink-wrapped freight. Our prepaid freight is based on cubes or weight, not value. The carriers will only ship from dock to dock to a professfional receiving/delivery service. If a residential delivery is to be made, follow the guidelines under “In Home Delivery”. The normal delivery times are 3-14 business days. This time may be extended if the delivery is going to a remote location. Once an item has left our facility, we can track the shipment, but have no control over the transportation of the goods. The customer must inspect the goods upon arrival, once signed for they have no recourse. If there is damage or a defect immediately noticed, the delivery should be refused and returned to the factory. For additional information, see Terms and Conditions listing for "Payment and Delivery” and "Claims".
