CARE

Casegoods – As with all finely crafted tables and finished wood items with a nitrocellulose top coat, a regular regiment should be taken to keep its beauty for years to come. Frequently dust with a soft cotton cloth and should polishing be required, we suggest silicone free Guardsman furniture products. Care should be taken not to drop or drag objects across the finish which may create dents or scratches.

Upholstery - Caring for your beautiful DFF® should become a regular routine so it can be enjoyed for years to come. We recommend an overall regular light vacuuming and flipping the seat cushions on a regular basis. The loose cushions should also be fluffed and rotated weekly at a minimum.

CARTONING

Cartoning is often required by non-furniture specific carriers. There is no charge should you choose to ship DFF® on such a carrier. If an item is to be crated versus cartoned please contact customer service to quote.

CONSTRUCTION

Our general construction starts with a kiln dried hardwood frame machined for durability. Dowel construction is used thoughout along with glue, screws, and corner blocks. The suspension is married to each frame for comfort and durability.

Deep seated frames are of eight way hand tied coil springs, while other styles utilize premium elastic webbing or sinuous wire springs. The inner fillings begin with a layer of synthetic fiber batting, a generous portion of urethane foam, and another layer of white synthetic fiber batting. All inner body fillings are hypoallergenic. The outer fillings begin wih a synthetic fiber fabric covering followed by a layer of densified fiber batting and finally the finish fabric. The finish fabric does not touch the raw frame, everything is padded. The skirts are hand aligned and cut to the upholstered item to assure an accurate match. The skirts are fully lined and sewn with mitered corners for a natural drape. All skirted items are equipped with levelers in each leg to allow for height adjustment. Our typical skirt height off the floor is one half inch.

ORIGINS

All fully upholstered frames are Made in the USA, as are many of our dining chairs. The balance of the items we offer are imported.

QUOTATIONS

We will quote an item only in writing via fax, mail, or email. Quotations are valid for 60 days from the date entered. Please be sure to check that the fabric yardage includes additional amounts for narrow fabrics and repeats.

SHIPPING  & FREIGHT

DFF® will ship your items prepaid and billed, via furniture specific carriers that accept shrink-wrapped freight. DFF® will ship by a carrier that DFF® determines best services your area. The carriers will only ship from dock to dock to a professfional receiving/delivery service. If a  residential delivery is to be made, follow the guidelines under “In Home Delivery”. The normal delivery times are 3-14 business days. This time may be extended if the delivery is going to a remote location. Once an item has left our facility, we can track the shipment, but have no control over the transportation of the goods. The customer must inspect the goods upon arrival, once signed for they have no recourse. If there is damage or a defect immediately noticed, the delivery should be refused and returned to the factory. DFF® prepays and bills freight as a service for the purchaser. Purchasers can select their own carriers. Carriers other than those offered by DFF® must appear on the purchaser’s order with the carrier’s name, address, contact and phone number. DFF® takes no responsibility for tracking other carrier’s shipments or assistance in any freight related claims. Freight rates are subject to change due to carrier price changes and fuel surcharges. All freight is FOB Morganton N.C.
